in the mood for love

Easily one of my favorites.

A feast for the eyes. Sometimes even more for the ears. I'd in fact mistaken some words for French. It's a funny thing, to mistake Chinese for French, but while watching the film, it seems almost logical.

I'm not much for reviews. But this is the kind of film that even without subtitles, I'd probably end up loving; I find that the film's behest is not to be understood, but to be felt.

It isn't a movie. It is pure poetry. One that is poignant in nature, although decidedly beautiful.

This adds to the long list of random things I ache for.
